"All is Lost", "Margin Call")

It was while studying writing and Italian in Florence, Italy that Frankie DeMarco

got bit by the film bug after working on a TV commercial there. Returning home to

Baltimore, Maryland Frankie got his BA in Modern Languages but he continued to work

on commercials, documentaries and a couple of John Waters films. Soon after he

moved to New York.

Since then he has worked as a director of photography on scores of features, TV

shows, commercials and documentary films.

Frankie shot JC Chandor's "Margin Call" starring Academy Award-Winners Kevin

Spacey. Chandor and DeMarco teamed up again for "All is Lost" starring Academy

Award-winner Robert Redford in his most acclaimed role to date.
